Good News - Romans 1:16-17

In a world obsessed with political power, personal influence, cultural approval, and self made success, Paul points us to a very different kind of power. Writing to believers in the shadow of mighty Rome, the epicenter of human strength and prestige, Paul boldly declares that the greatest power in the world is not found in armies, platforms, or achievement, but in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Romans 1:16-17 calls us to reject shame, silence, and self-reliance, and instead to live with bold confidence in the only message powerful enough to save sinners and make them righteous before God: The Gospel.
