Church Service Signup

Due to Governor Sununu's Emergency Order 63, masks are required when entering, moving within, and exiting the building.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND GRACIOUSNESS!

Greetings CBC,

This past week Governor Sununu gave churches the green light to host in-person worship services. At Calvary Bible Church, we think the best way to ensure a safe reopening is to do it in stages. At the moment, it is too uncertain for many of our older or high-risk members to return. It also is too early to ensure a safe operation for our nursery and children’s ministries.  So, we are asking everyone to assess the viability of in-person worship services in light of these limitations, but remember our services will continue to broadcast on our online platforms:, Facebook Live, and our app remain as options for all.

Utilizing the guidelines provided by our State leaders, we can provide a safe environment for a limited number of attendees. We are permitted to have up to 40% of our legal seating capacity but still must maintain social distancing guidelines, which will further reduce our seating capacity. So if you want to attend our Sunday morning service, you will need to reserve a seat for yourself and all others from your household that will be attending with you.  To make your reservation, follow the Service Seat Reservations link at the top of this page. We will need all reservations to be completed by Thursday night in order for us to plan accordingly and to ensure compliance with all guidelines.  Please keep in mind to ensure the largest amount of people to attend; we will need to assign seats, which means you may not get to sit in your favorite spot. If we reach our maximum occupancy and you are unable to make your reservation, please send an email to [email protected] to be put on a waiting list. We will do our best to accommodate everyone possible this Sunday, June 7th, at a brand new time at 10 am. We recommend that you arrive early to help with the seating process; doors will open at 9:30 am.

Of course, please remember the lessons we’ve learned in our Stay At Home Order. If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, please stay home.
  • Fever of 100.4 or higher
  • Respiratory symptoms such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sore throat, cough, or shortness of breath
  • Whole body symptoms such as muscle aches, chills, and severe fatigue
  • Changes in sense of taste or smell

Other risk factors include having been in close contact with someone who is suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19 (healthcare workers following proper protocol are allowed to attend), anyone who has traveled outside of NH, VT, or ME in the last 14 days.

Please be sensitive to others and avoid hugging and handshaking; a simple wave or a “Good Morning” will do. We will have on hand 500 washable cloth masks as a gift to anyone who would like one.  Really, it is the latest fashion trend. We will have hand sanitizing stations for your safety.  We will need to maintain social distancing standards, so we will need to be sensitive as to how we enter the building, so please follow the guidance given you by those who will help you to find your assigned seat.  Also, we will dismiss by sections when the service has ended, again to maintain proper social distancing.

Thank you so much for the support you’ve given us during the quarantine. Your notes and comments from week to week are encouraging, and your financial support has been a blessing.

We need two more things from you now… your prayers and patience. First, we need your prayers that God will give us wisdom. No one has navigated these waters before. We need God’s help. Second, we need your patience. I believe God will make it clear when the time is right to fully open. We won’t regret waiting a week or two later than we could have, but we would deeply regret opening too early, and someone gets sick.

We will continue to take it week by week. Thanks for your prayers and patience. If you want to join us in person on June 7th, we will see you at 10 am. Make sure you reserve a seat in advance.

In Christ,
Pastor Talley
