The Truth & Training club is for our clubbers in grades three through six and is designed to teach young people the truths of God’s Word and train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. 

The weekly T&T meetings expose children to Scripture memory, Bible study, awards, Team-oriented games and gut-busting fun.  Each club night consists of three segments; 

Handbook Time provides opportunity for the club members to complete sections in their handbooks consisting of memory work and various and challenging projects all geared to help them develop a Christ-centered life.  By the time a clubber has completed T&T he/she will have learned approximately 310 verses and studied dozens more.  Time is also spent in teaching practical application of scripture – helping to answer questions such as “How does God want me to live my life?” 

Game Time is always exciting, playing a variety of special AWANA games on the AWANA circle to games from the creative minds of our game leaders.  OH, by the way – on Parents Night Mom and Dad get to play too – don’t miss that!  Focus of this time is teaching teamwork, sportsmanship and having FUN! 

Council Time provides an opportunity to hear special messages from a broad range of speakers; leaders, missionaries, pastors, etc. using various means, methods and object lessons to drive home important Biblical and life principles. 

Throughout the year there are a number of special events in which the T&T clubs participate, such as; Regional Bible Quizzing, the AWANA Grand Prix and the Regional AWANA Games – for more on these events check out EVENTS.

During all of the events of AWANA club our clubbers are well supervised and cared for by volunteer leaders from Calvary Bible Church, leaders committed to children’s ministry and committed to ministering to kids! 

Getting started:

The first step is completing the Start Zone, once this is completed the clubber is free to order their T&T Uniform and their first club handbook.  Parents, when you register your clubber be sure you get one of our Parent Handbooks, it’s chock full of helpful information and answers to those most frequently asked questions.
