The AWANA Grand Prix is an event that gets the whole family involved – in more ways than one!  Car kits go on sale on November 8 for $2.00 (or 8 AWANA Shares).  Now comes the fun part – building the car, time to get creative!  In past years we have had cars in the shape of cars, trucks, animals, fruits and etc.

On race day the cars are inspected for legal size, weight and official AWANA car components – and then parked in the pits to await the competition to follow.  Following inspection the cars are judged for design.

During Judging the tension mounts as the drivers check out the competition and prepare to take to the track.  Cars are carefully lined up – and then they’re off.

Heat after heat is run until the winners are identified.    

Trophies are awarded for: 

Design - 1st - 3rd

Unique Design 1st 

Speed - 1st - 3rd

Fastest Lab - 1st
