Cubbies is the AWANA Club for preschoolers, ages 3 & 4 (children must have reached their 3^rd birthday by September 30 of the club year).  Non-competitive games and activities and developmentally appropriate lessons combine basic Bible truths with popular preschool concepts of colors, shapes, numbers and letters.

Cubbies is fun with a purpose – reaching and teaching boys and girls about Jesus Christ.  Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform our preschool club into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand.

Cubbie Bear, Luv E. Lamb, Ern E. Elephant, Zip E. Zebra and Gigi Giraffe take preschoolers on a thrilling journey through God’s word.  Caring, committed volunteers from Calvary Bible Church provide a safe and secure environment for your children and are strong role models for them.

FAMILY

A most important aspect of Cubbies is family involvement!  Cubbies supports parents as the primary source of spiritual nurturing.  By working directly with your children on their weekly handbook lessons you become an active participant and share directly in their accomplishments and joy! 

And their accomplishments are significant.  After two years in Cubbies they have learned approximately 55 memory verses, learned key basic Bible truths, met many new friends and had a lot of fun! 

Getting started:

The first step is completing the Bear Hug Brochure, once this is completed the clubber is free to order their Cubbies vest and their first Cubbies Celebrations handbook.  Parents, when you register your clubber be sure you get one of our Parent Handbooks. It’s chock full of helpful information and answers to those most frequently asked questions.
